Finally joined the US Navy in 2002. Spent 5 years in as a Avionics Technician. Was very fortunate, never had to go overseas. Spent 1 year in Florida for schools, then 2 years in Whidbey Island WA, and the last 2 years in Brunswick ME.

Dean Berlin
Class of 1990
Navy, 9 Years
Dean served 9 years with the Navy Seabees Reserve and Active Duty. He was deployed to Iraq in March of 2006. Their Hummer hit an IED on June 5, 2006, two people in his vechile were killed. Dean and the fourth person were severly injured. Dean is doing well today, a happily married man with five children!
