Served aboard the USS Weiss APD 135. Served in Vietnam with US Navy Seals. Recived Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals. One Certificate of honor for our ship serving in a special operation off the coast of North Vietnam.

Active duty 3yr, 19mos overseas, reserve and Natl Guard for several more years...mostly good safe duty, lifeguarding, office jobs, chasing prisoners,etc.
Expert rifleman but that was to be expected with my lifelong affinity for firearms.

Proudly served in the United States Army AS Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) 05H/98H Morse Intercept Operator, and 54B Nuclear Biological and Chemical Specialist. Received numerous awards including the Meritorius Service Medal (2), Army Commendation Medal (6), Army Achievement Medal (4), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (2), and Joint Meritorious Unit Award (2). Served as Equal Opportunity Representative, Retention and Career Counselor, and NBC NCOIC at battalion and brigade levels.
