I entered active duty as a Second Lieutenant after graduation from Sam Houston in 1060. I served in several stateside locations as well as a one year tour of duty in Korea ('64) and Vietnam ('70) and two tours in Germany. I was discharged in 1977 with the rank of Major.

Our Oakwood High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Oakwood High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Oakwood are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
