Lee Scott Townsend

Class of 1970

The Military Oder of the Purple heart was presented at the 1969 Senior Farewell Assembly by Lt. Col Glassock in recognition of Lee's leadership of and dedication to Portland High School Cadet Drill and Marching Corps. Originally presented to the outstanding senior, Lee was the first recipient to have received the award in his junior year.
