About	Laura Hill March 1, 1965 - Jan. 23, 2018 Former resident of Saratoga Laura (Laurie) Anne Hill passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 in Vacaville, California. She was born March 1, 1965 in Los Gatos, California. Laurie graduated from Saratoga High School in 1983 and received a Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University. She taught elementary school and was a world traveler. She loved reading good books, cooking and caring for animals. Her fun-loving, compassionate, vivacious, brave spirit will be remembered by all who knew her most of all by her loving family, mother, Barbara Hill of Saratoga; sister, Jennifer Hill of Saratoga; brother, Richard Hill, his wife, Lori, their children, Robbie and Lindsey Hill all of San Diego and her longtime partner, Erik Peterson. She is preceded in death by her father Maurice Hill and her maternal grandparents Bob and Gladys Ashcraft of Watsonville. A celebration of Laurie's life will be held at the Federated Church of Saratoga, February 13 at 2:00 pm.
