This year marks 60 years since we graduated from South High. That said, Bob Gebel and I have been talking, and we think it would be a great time to have a class reunion.

We’re looking at holding the event on a Saturday night in late September or mid-October. The next day we were thinking of having an informal “picnic style” gathering at the school. You can once again sit on the Senior Lawn and reminisce. You can tour the school as well.

At this point we haven’t determined a cost for the event, or the location, but more importantly we are trying to gauge the interest among our classmates. Therefore, I would ask if you would please send me an email and let me know if you would be attending, and how many would be in your party. Ideally if you could provide me with your intentions by the end of March or early April, that would be very helpful, as we want to book a venue as soon as possible. Should we have a positive response, Bob and I will continue working to bring everything together.

Lastly, if you are aware of any of our classmates that have passed, please include that information in your response. We would like to honor them.
