Air Force, 4 Years
I joined the Air Force and had duty in Vietnam and Texas. In 1964 I made it out of Vietnam to work in Texas until discharged in 1967. Uncle Sam paid for lots of my college education during this time and under the GI bill I graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1968. The Air Force was a great learning experience and provided a start in life that otherwise I might not have been able to accomplish. Today, for the most part, leadership of my company is provided by that of long term serving veterans that I find to be excellent employees. I still work when I want for the challenge of the day is not at home, and the challenge on the golf course, unfortunately overpowers me.

After graduating high school I started to work for Timet. During one on the long layoffs I enlisted in the US Air Force where I learned to repair Air Traffic Control Radar. I spent 3 years in the Florida panhandle. During this time I started my photography Career and have always loved taking photographs.

I then worked for Loclheed in Aearospace Engineering both at Bad Aibling and then At Denver, CO. I am reired now and enjoying life as never before.
