About Me	I'm Cliff, and I'm an "ex". Ex-hockey player, ex-baseball player, ex-cop, ex-SWAT, ex-police olympian. Ex- buncha-stuff. Vietnam vet. Crash reconstructionist. Still do some coaching and teaching. Saved by Grace. Fallen and Flawed but Surrendered. I've enjoyed a long and very active life. I've been an athlete, a cop, a coach, a soldier, and an artist. But my life was made complete when I surrendered it to the Lordship and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have a lovely wife and a beautiful daughter, as well as a son and daughter grown and gone with beautiful families of their own. I sill do some teaching for police officers in Traffic Homicide Investigation, and I sill volunteer to help coach high school baseball at Parkway Christian when I can. I served with the Birmingham Police Department for 14 years, and I was on the tactical unit (SWAT) for 9 of those years. My greatest blessing right now is seeing my daughter Mary grow into a beautiful, godly young woman with very high standards and principles. God has truly blessed me.
