The 1983 State Championship Runner-Up Football Team was selected into the WACOHI Hall of Fame. All footballs players and coaches from the ’83 team are invited to the Friday Homecoming game on 9/27 to participate in the HOF induction ceremony. There will be a ceremony at Five Points before the game and then recognition on the Field at half-time of the Varsity Game. There will be more information to follow as we learn more details from the High School. Please help us spread the work so we can get as many teammates as possible back to this event.
The Homecoming football game is at 7:30pm. General admission tickets are $4 and you can sit in the brand new bleachers! After the game, there will be informal get together at Kep's Sports Bar and Grill, 314 Muller Road in Washington.
What are the plans for Saturday Night?
Very much like the 30th year reunion except we’re older, wiser and better looking! We have rented the Knights of Columbus Hall, located just off the square in Washington. We will have finger foods (deli sandwiches, veggie and fruit trays, chicken strips, etc.). There will be a Cash Bar for all your drinking pleasure. WE MAY purchase a keg of beer if we have a plenty of classmates pre-register. So who wants some FREE BEER! We will also be playing your favorite hits from the 1980’s, so bring your dancing shoes! We need your help spreading the word about our 35 year class reunion, so please tell your classmates about the event, especially those who are not on Facebook. Let’s have a great turn out and party like we did back in 1984!

Good questions. Register by 11:59pm on Saturday September 13. Two options to register and pay:
You can register via Facebook by ”joining” the event on Facebook. But to make it official you have to send $$$ too.
Option 1: Send a check ($30/person) payable to Todd Bulmer at 1201 Eagle Ave, Washington, IL 61571. Include your name and guest in the message so he knows for sure who it’s from.
Option 2: send money via PayPal using his Todd’s Yahoo account: bulmer33@yahoo.com. If you pay with your debit card there is a $1.17 fee for $30 or $2.04 for $60. You can avoid those fees if you pay via your bank’s routing number but it takes 2-3 days to set up that up the first time. Include your name and guest in the message box so he knows for sure who it’s from.

Very much like the 25th year reunion except we’re older and wiser. We will have hors d’oeuvres, which is French for little hot dogs and cauliflower. Cash bar. We’ll get a DJ so Todd Hibbard can sing again.
***Can friends from other WaCo High classes join in the fun?***
If they pre-register and pay, most definitely. Except for the Class of 1974 (bunch of jerks).
***Classmate Memorial***
At our 25th we set up a little memorial to the following classmates who had passed away: Mike Bennett, Danny Donigan, Rebecca Hawkins, Kathy Grey, Jorge Padilla, Fred Snydacker, Cheryl Cain, Tim Greenleaf, and Jon Gasperi.
