1967 - 1971. I went to boot camp training with high school buddies Carl Preston and Mike Snyder. I then attended submarine and navigation schools and became a Quartermaster (navigator) 2nd class in the submarine service. Duty stations included San Diego, CA and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. It was a great experience and I'm proud to have served my country.
