About	Dennis “Denny Gail” Sargent, age 48, Purcell, MO, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 2:00 a.m. at Freeman West Hospital. Dennis was born December 7, 1958 in Neck City, MO, son of Dwight and Jessie Busby Sargent of Neck City. He graduated from Webb City High School in 1977. He worked for several industries in the Joplin area, and was currently employed with LaBarge Electronics. He was a member of Teamster’s Local #823. He was also a member of Alba Christian Church. He loved to hunt and fish, and was especially fond of hunting Morels. In addition to his parents, Dennis is survived by his wife, Cheryl Serra Sargent whom he married November 10, 2001 in Neck City; daughter, Sara Sargent of the home, step-son, David Welch and wife Jennifer of Anderson, MO; brothers, Bud Sargent and wife Debbie of Joplin, Charles Sargent of Galesburg, MO, Tim Sargent and wife Carolyn of Joplin, David Sargent of Neck City, Tony Sargent and wife Charlotte also of Neck City; sisters, Deanna Miller and husband Bud of Carthage, MO, Vaughnda Cook and husband John of Neck City, and Anita Williams and husband Barry of Alba; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Ron Hoyer officiating. Interment will follow in Friends Cemetery, Purcell, MO, with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alba Christian Church care of Parker Mortuary.
