About	John J. Carter III, age 58, passed away, June 17, 2015. He was born on Dec. 1st, 1956, in Honolulu to the late John J. Jr. and Carol Barber Carter. He loved life and nature and enjoyed being with his family and friends. John will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Julie Carter; step-daughters, Ashley and Alyssa Zahand; grandsons, Layne Jackson, and Aiden Britt; siblings, Karen (Dan) Singer, Sharon (Reed) Schibley, Norma (Chris) Hinkle, Linda (Vincent) Lonigro, Kathleen Carter, Michael Carter, and Cynthia Carter; and several nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, James Patrick Carter. A funeral service will take place on Monday at 10:30AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.
