About	Leonard Lee McBroom, 79, of Arvada, died April 22, 2024, in his home with family by his side. He was born on August 21, 1944, to Ernest and Mary Alice McBroom in Denver Leonard joined the Army in 1963, where he served three years as a member of the Engineering Corps in Thailand. In 1967 Leonard began working at Molson Coors. After a fulfilling 35-year career he retired from Coors in 2002. He married his former spouse Susan Smith in 1971 with whom he shared two sons, Daniel and Mark. Leonard was married to Bernadette Medina in 1987, becoming a loving father to Bernadette’s son and daughter, Michael and Stephanie. He was nurturing by nature, a kind and gentle man. His interests included skiing, gardening, golf and crafting pottery. Leonard was also a proud and active member of the Elks Golden Lodge #2740 for more than 25 years. Leonard is survived by his wife, Bernadette; children, Mark (Kelly), Michael, and Stephanie (Earle); grandson Riley; brother Stanley (Candi); and many extended family members and friends. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Ernest and Mary Alice, and son, Daniel. A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 25, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Golden Elks Lodge.
