WHS 50 Year Class Reunion

Dear Classmates,
It is hard to believe it has been ten years since our last reunion in 2008. But it will soon be time to gather once again to share memories from our time in Winslow 50 years ago. So much has happened and some have passed on. Many of you have attended all and some have attended a few of our reunions. And some have not made it to any. Our hope is that this being our 50th we can appeal to all of you to join us.
A save the date email was sent to many of you and I think 18 bounced back to us. We are doing preliminary work in trying to update our contact info for all of you. This letter will serve as a second "save the date" notice using our updated list for US Mail list. Hopefully, little by little we can contact all of our classmates. Here are the details so far:
Dates: October 5th and 6th 2018
Place: Winslow AZ
Details:
Our committee is thinking it will be best to keep it simple. What that means tentatively is we will plan on a Saturday night event dinner and a DJ. (Location TBD) This cost will be included in our fee of $35per person. Friday night we will have a no-host mixer where drinks and food will be up to attendees. If we decide to have a group breakfast available on Sunday, it too will be no-host. Our goal is to keep our event expenses low and for everyone to be able to manage their own expenses.
The reunion will be the same weekend as the Winslow Just Crusin Car Show. This means it will be important for you to make reservations early. There will be many fun events for you to consider while you are here. The car show is truly impressive and worth a look for those of you with an interest. Anyone wishing to broaden your stay in Winslow, there is the "Standin on a Corner" celebration the weekend prior to our reunion. It is a very busy weekend as well but a great place to see old friends.
