Navy, 20+ Years

Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. Schooling in Groton, CT. Served aboard the following submarines. USS Florida, USS Georgia, USS Alabama, USS Michigan, USS Nebraska, and USS Nevada. All were home ported out of Bangor, WA, except USS Nebraska. I served on Nebraska for only 5 months while she was changing home ports from Kings Bay, GA to Bangor, WA.

Trained as Missile Maintenance Computer Guidance Technican. Assignments as Instructor at Missile Maintenance School in Huntsville, Alabama. Spent over 14 years overseas in Europe and Middle East. Assigned to 82nd Airborne Division for 5 years. Appointed Warrant Office in 1977. Senior technical expert in my field the last 5 years of service. Retired from US Army after 22+ years service in 1989.
