Marine Corps, 20+ Years
Served as a H-1 Huey/Cobra Helicopter Crew Chief for 10 years. Promoted to Warrant Officer served as a Maintenance Engineering Officer for 7 years and Promoted to Limited Duty Officer for the remainder. Retired 10/1/05 as a Major.

Communication Technician 1959 to 1963. Adak Alaska '60-'61, Waihiwa, HI '61-'63. Special duty to Christmas Island Atomic Bomb tests. Special duty on USS Bonne Homme Richard Aircraft Carrier for 6 months off Japan. USS Pueblo was duty station for CT's. Also served on USS Rowan, a destroyer.

Ended up in the Aviation branch of the Navy, hunting Russian Subs over in the Med as we called it! I was stationed with a land based sub hunter squadron up in Maine! Flew from there to Sicily where we did 8/12 hour patrols of the Med serching for Russian Subs! I was with Patrol Squadron VP-23 and we flew Neptune P2V-7 aircraft. I mustered out in 1969 E-4 over 5!
