Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, United States Army Reserve in 1979 and ordered to Active Duty. Distinguished Graduate of the US Army Nuclear Weapons Officer Course. Duty Assignments include:
Platoon Leader, Storage and Issue Platoon, Kriegsfeld Army Depot, Germany
Nuclear Weapons Encoding Officer, 59th Ordnance Brigade, Pirmasens Germany
Liaison Officer, Joint Service Small Arms Program, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ
Research & Development Officer, US Army Research, Development & Engineering Ctr.
Commander, Headquarters Detachment, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ
Administrative & Personnel Officer, 3rd Ordnance Battalion, Pirmasens Germany
Released from Active Duty to the Reserves in 1990. Promoted to Major in 1991.
Currently assigned to Retired Reserve.
