Military life requires you to travel the world and that I did. Retired in 1994 as a Commander in the U.S. Navy. The Navy was good to me and I hope I was good for the Navy. Presently work for Dyncorp in Dallas/Fort Worth. We have 1 daughter, Amanda. She and her husband, Rob, gave us our first grandson on Feb.8, 2008.

I joined the army while I was in high school and left for basic a month after i graduated. I went to basic training at Ft. Benning Georgia. I then went to school to be a mechanic at Ft. Jackson. I went back to Ft. Benning for airborne school but i came down with pnuemonia and was forced to quit. from there I went to Baumholder Germany. Where I was deployed to Kuwait then Iraq. I served there from November 05 to November 06. I am currently at Ft Hood. And I will be getting out on March 11 for a medical discharge for my conditions from Iraq.
