Went to Sam Houston State University for a B.S. and M.A., then to University of Iowa for my Ph.D. in chemistry. After teaching at Drake University, I returned to Sam Houston State as a Professor of Chemistry. After spending four summers as a Visiting Prof. in Germany, I became a Research Ambassador for the German Academic Exchange Service and then was placed on the German Academic Exchange Service Alumni Association Board of Directors. We meet twice a year at the German Consulate in New York. I am still Professor of Chemistry at Sam Houston State, and teach a class on alternate years in Germany and Paris.
