Spent 28 years in the Navy and managed to stay of ships. Spent all my time in the Navy Patrol Plane called the P-3. Managed to amass 13000 or so flight time.

Assigned to 48th Air Rescue and Recover Training Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base Florida. Aircraft Mechanic on Fixed and Rotary Aircraft. C-130's, CH-3 and CH-53. Squadron was first New York to Paris with Helicopters via in flight refueling.

Korea 1955-1957. Company was located 9 miles from the DMZ. A vehicle support company for all branches of service and a Turkish company on the DMZ.

Served as an Electronics tech aboard five different Submarines. Two WWII diesel subs and three Nuclear Missile Submarines. I served from March 1962 to September 19 1969.
