Joined in October 1969. Served in the regular US Air Force as an Air Cargo Specialist. Went over to South Viet Nam in March 1970 and was stationed at Cam Rhan Bay Air Base for the full year. Returned to the states in March 1971 as a Airman First Class. Then stationed at Dyess Air Force Base near Abilene, Texas. He did Temporary Duty back overseas to NonKom Phanom,Thailand for three months just before being honorably released in October 1973. He had acquired the rank of Staff Sargent in his four years of service.
