Okay, it's official! The Class of 1971 is getting together for their 40th reunion on June 10-11-12! If you need a hotel room, the Days Inn has offered us a reduced rate of $75 (plus tax). To reserve a room, call them direct (806-935-2222; don't call the 800#) and ask for the Class of '71 rate. There will be an informal Friday evening gathering at the 287 Roadhouse (across the street from the Days Inn) around 6:30. It's a restaurant and bar, so we can eat and drink accordingly. On Saturday at 2:00, we'll have a "Find Your Locker" tour of the high school, courtesy of Kriste Overton Martindale and her husband, Bobby. That evening, we'll meet at Mary Lynn's place, the Alley Cafe. She and Mike have graciously offered the cafe and will be preparing some delicious goodies (BYOB). So...help spread the word! Let's try to find all our classmates and get together for a great time! See you in Dumas!

Tentative Plans: For those traveling to Dumas and needing a hotel room - the Days Inn has offered us a $75 per night (+ tax) room rate. Just tell them you are attending the Class of 1971 Reunion. Friday night casual gathering at the 287 Roadhouse Cafe, time TBA. Saturday parade, then afternoon tour of the high school (time TBA), followed by the big get-together at the Alley Cafe!. Sunday brunch 10:00 at the Alley Cafe. More info to be posted as details are worked out.

As many of you know, Susan's parents passed away in May and we are still taking care of all their business and just don't have the time to pull the reunion together.
