Donald Robeson

Marine Corps, 4 Years
Joined the Navy following graduation. Departed for Recruit Training on 6-2-1950 in San Diego. On June 15 1950 the Korean War started. I completed Recruit Training and then Medical Training. I was then assigned to duty with the Marines in Korea as a Corpsman. I was discharged in June of 1954 as a 2nd Class Petty Officier.

I joined the Idaho Army National Guard in Grangeville, Idaho in the summer of 1965. I saw duty in 1966 at Ft. Lewis and Ft. Leonard Wood, MO then back at Ft. Lewis in 1968. Deployed a year in Viet Nam in 1968-1969. Honorable discharge in 1971.

He is currently station in San Bruno, CA with I-I staff 23D Marine Regiment, Regimental HQ's as the Company Gunnery Sergeant and Maint. Man. Chief.
