Forrest Road Elementary School Alumni - Columbus, GA

Hello, I remember how much I loved Forest Road elementary school, I remember I had Mrs Chamblee for 1st grade, Mrs.Kirkland for 2nd grade, Mrs. Pearson for 3rd grade, & Mrs Anderson for 4th grade. I remember how good the food tasted the cafeteria (the food was actually prepared fresh daily) & how kind the ladies that worked in there were to us, We moved to north Columbus 17days into my 4th grade yr, I remember being so sad leaving all of my friends..I graduated from Columbus College in 94 & our family is happily living in Wisconsin. When I come home for visits I drive around Columbus to visit my favorite places..I have driven by Forest Rd elementary several times thru the yrs, I'm so amazed how the area has grown, when we were kids across the street from the school it was nothing but woods & today its a neighborhood..I have so many fond memories of my friends from my young school days..

Hello! Does anyone know where Mrs. Johnson is. She was my kindergarten teacher back in 1985. Can’t remember her first name, but I do remember her glasses & I was upset when she became pregnant back then. So I’m thinking she may have a child born around 1984 or 1985.
