US Army, Army 1990-1992 D.Co. 2/68th Armor; Baumholder, Germany; Caption Wise. Advised Commanding Officer (CO) on all related Nuclear Biological & Chemical (NBC) defense and scheduling of training. Prepared and evaluated NBC intelligence reports for higher and subordinate units. Conducted unit level dosimeter, monitoring, surveying and decontaminating operations. Managed all NBC Equipment Maintenance to include establishing and maintaining PMCS and Calibration programs for diverse types of direct reading and radiation survey instrument. (ANPDR27 Radiation Monitor, 256 Chemical Detection, M8 Alarm System etc) Performed computation for the establishing of Radiation Exposure Limits and their effect on equipment, personnel, and overall operations and mission requirements. Established and maintained strict guidelines for decontaminating procedures for company level Decontaminating Team Members. Trained all company personnel in all areas of applicable NBC Defense. Instructed, assigned duties, and supervised unit personnel in correct implementation of NBC procedures for maximum mission efficiency and safety.
