MSgt, USAF. Service throughout Asia to include Japan, Phillipines, Republic of Viet Nam during TET Offensive (1968, 5 major campaigns) and various assignments throughout the United States. Retired in 1983. Retired from DOD Civil Service in 2007. Served 43 plus years both in uniform and out of uniform for USAF and USA.

Luther Fields

Marine Corps, 4 Years
Luther Fields (1948-2008) was a member of the United States Marines. He served in Vietnam for one tour and was awarded a Purple Heart for his bravery and being wounded. He was a great person to know (as many of you know) and he is sadly missed.

I attended finance school at Ft Benjamin Harrison, Ind. Then went to Korea for 15 months as an accountant. Final 15 months were spent in Washington, D.C. as a budget accountant at the Armed Forces Institjute of Pathology. Rose to the rank of Specialist fifth class.
