Army, 20+ Years
After a successful military career, I retired my commission in 1986 as a LTC (Lieutenant Colonel) in the Army. I finished my career in the Army Reserves, having served two tours in Vietnam (1969-1970) with the 5th Special Forces Group. Dan Guenther and I served in the same section of South Vietnam (I Corps) but not at the same time. My civilian jobs were with the American Broadcasting Company from 1966-1998, ultimately as Director of Voice Telecommunications for the Corporation.
After some consulting work,, I retired in 2002. I have been actively involved in volunteering work for various
Veteran Service Organizations and for the local hospital. I am married for the second time for 41 years to my wife Ginny and have three children (Corrina, Peter and Eileen). I have two granddaughters(Audrey-15 & Paige-13) who live in Woodridge, IL.
I am looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion. 55 years is a long time. Let us keep up the tradition!
