Army, 2 Years
I enlisted when i was 17 and a Jr. in high school. I served 1 year of my reserve contract then i reenlisted for 4 years active dudy. I've been threw Airborne school and now serve with the 1-508 PIR of the 82nd Airborne division Ft. bragg NC, i have 3 years left of my contract and undecided about reenlistment. Regaurdless what choice i make about staying in i am proud to have served my country.

After graduation, I married my sweetheart and worked to put her through the U of I. Shortly before her graduation I enlisted in the Marine Corps and spent my first Christmas away from home in boot camp. I've deployed to Japan, the Philippines, and to Bahrain. Military retirement may be in my future, who knows. Once I leave the military, I plan on being a social worker or school guidance counselor.

Air Assault, SF, Several deployments in a few continents (Asia, Europe, and Latin America). Now serving in IN as a medic trainer. My father Wes Tyler , set the example for me. I will retire as CPT. I don't want to, but look forward to spending more time with my son, Toby in Homer.
