Initially (1968) I served with 5th AT's at Camp Pendletion. Early 1969 found me in the land of the little pissed off people assigned to the 2nd Battalion 26th marines. After a tour and a half (18 months0 i made it back to the good old USA. Another trip overseaes to Japan and then discharged in Nov 1975.

1975 to 1981 - Nuclear Power Plant trained Electrical Operator on a Fast Attack Submarine. 2 years of training and 4 years on a boat. Persian Gulf operations during Iran Hostage Crisis.

SSGT Mark Nye served in USAF at Danang, Vietnam and Ubon RTAFB, Thailand from 1973-1975. Honorable discharged in 1978.
