The JFK Class of 1967 50th Class Reunion Fundraiser - Kickapoo Casino Bus Trip.

The bus seats 52 and cost is $25.00(cash) per person. Monies are due to Marty no later than April 21st.

Kennedy Alumni Veterans
Presently researching and updating John F. Kennedy Alumni veterans. In particular, SP4 Ramiro Alvarado Jr. U.S. Army 60th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division. Ramiro served gallantly in Vietnam, KIA 2/27/1968. I am looking family or friends to contact and talk about his career and loss. Ramiro was from the Kennedy Class '66.
Also looking for family and friends of Joe Gonzales, U.S. Navy. He died as a result of wounds received in Vietnam. Joe was from the Kennedy Class of '67
Another is SP5 Joe M. Riojas, Kennedy Class '66. Joe served in the U.S. Army, 11th Armored Cavalry and died after a tour of duty in Vietnam. He died August 16, 1969. 50th Anniv of JFK HS Committee Meeting
From Gina Mendez Chairperson of 50th Anniv of JFK HS Committee:
Sending to all since the more we have on this committee and put out the word - the more we will have attending this historical event.
We will be having a meeting at Lisa's on Bandera Rd starting between 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7th in the glass room. Please e-mail at jgomez101@satx.rr.com so he can make sure that we have enough tables in the room. Reservations have already been made for room.
Please let as many of your classmates know that we will be having this event during the first week of school - starting Aug. 26th. More information will be provided at the meeting.

The officers of this organization hope all had a good holiday. Now that the new year has started - this organization has much on our agenda. For those of you who are members and want to be members - membership dues ($15.00) need to be paid for 2013 and mailed now. Make checks to JFK ALUMNI Organization and send to:

There will be no January meeting. The following dates need to be placed on your calendars these are tentative dates for now:
February monthly meeting will be on the 19th
March meeting will also be on the 19th
April events are:
Meeting will be on 16th and this Organization will be participating in Fiesta de Los Ninos @ Port of San Antonio which this event will be held on Saturday April 20th
May events are:
Meeting and Scholarship Dinner will be on the 21th, Teacher's end-of-year event either Breakfast or Lunch Date TBD and Memorial Day Veteran's Ceremony on the 27th @ Football stadium. At monthly meeting will present students scholarships' at this.
June's meeting will be on the 18th
July's meeting will be on the 16th
August's meeting will be on the 20th
September's meeting will be on the 17th
October's events:
Meeting will on the 15th, meeting for dance on the 22th and Annual Alumni Organization Dance will be on the 26th which benefits our Scholarship fund
November's meeting will be on the 12th instead of the 19th during Thanksgiving holiday
December's events:
Meeting will be a mixer date TBD and Teacher's Holiday Event date TBD either breakfast or lunch
Also any type of assistance on any of the upcoming events would be greatly appreciated either by volunteering your time or monetary contributions.
Time to come out and join the organization, also time for dues to be paid for the year 2013.
