MAYCE GRADUATED FROM FORT JACKSON @ COLUMBIA, SC on JULY 21st, 2006 around 10:00AM. HER MOTHER, EMILY attended, (EMILY now lives in UNION CITY, but at that time lived in MARTIN.) EMILY was priviledged to ATTEND MAYCE'S graduation by the help of MANY GOOD CHRISTIAN 'FRIENDS' who took up love offerings for her bus ticket to FT. JACKSON, so thankful(-l). (YES, this is her PROUD MOMMA, who is writing this article, as she is 'still' on the ACTIVE DUTY list, and it is 'supposed' that she is 'somewhere'(?) in AFRICA, or IRAQ.(no word as yet where she was deployed to this time.)
MAYCE was an US ARMY, NATIONAL GUARD 'SOLDIER' IN KUWAIT ALL OF LAST YEAR(2007-APRIL TO MAY. After being home only weeks, she decided to GO BACK TO, as she calls "over there", "....the WAR ZONE." SIGNING OFF NOW, EM SENN.(EM used to be EMILY CAROL BLACKLEY from JULY 1971 TO 1982; after 4 other marriages, which didn't work out, is now single 'again', and has returned to her 'maiden' name in case 'anyone' is 'searching' on the NET for her, any 'old' friends from LAKE COUNTY, that is, EM is now disabled with 'some' arthritis and 'some' learning disabilities, writing and math 'blocks', and she has some 'other' minor health problems as well.) MAYCE, on the other hand, is THRIVING, and might I add, acheiving much, for OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, also, in 2007, when MAYCE returned home from THE BORDER(TEXAS-MEXICO) PATROL JOB with the NATIONAL GUARD, (they were building the border walls taller), she got her TRUCK DRIVING 'CDL' LICENSE in DECEMBER, before 'signing' up to GO to WHEREVER THE ARMY was going to send her. SO, this is to TELL EVERYBODY FROM LAKE COUNTY who were her friends there, that she's DOING 'QUITE' WELL. AND, EM, her mother, says too, "TELL EVERYBODY I SAID, "HI - YA'LL!" (TWO YEARS AGO EM wrote a 34 page book called "PAPA CATERPILLAR", although it has not yet been published. (ALSO, that G_D 'healed' her of CHRONIC PAIN SYNDROME of the 'whole' right side's RIBCAGE after having broken some ribs about 10 years ago, with a FALL at home. WOW!, that's, as the song said long ago, "....AIN'T G_D GOOD....TO GIVE US (ME) SO MANY 'BLESSINGS'," (AND, 'even' my little daughter is all grow-ed up, and NOW SHE'S 'WEARING' ARMY BOOTS!
