Class of 1983
National Guard, 10 Years
Joined ND Army National Guard in 99'. Member of the 3662 Maint. Co. In Devils Lake. Moved to Louisianna in 02' transfered to the 1083rd TC in Minden, LA. Deployed to Kuwait in 03'-04'. Deployed again in 09', currently serving at COB Speicher, Tikrit, Iraq.

Ronald Sveum Jr.
Class of 1988
National Guard, 20+ Years
Ron served in the ND Army National Guard and retired in 2009 as a Command Sergeant Major. Ron has been trained or been stationed in 20 states and 15 countries. He served in Afghanistan from 2005 - 2007. While in ND, Ron has served with units in Grand Forks, Bismarck, and Devils Lake. Ron was presented with the Legion of Merit Award by Govenor Hoeven upon his retirement.

Retired after 33 years as medical Corp Officer. Served in various leadership positions in various medical units with last 7 years as Commander of medical unit in Arizona with multiple deployments and mobilizations. Served in Kuwait 2003-2005, Commander of the RRSC Fort Bliss 2014-2015.
