Air Force, 20+ Years
I enlisted during my senior year in December 1979 for four years. I arrived at basic training in June 1980. I graduated advanced training as a Fire Protection Specialist. In 1983 I extened for two more years so I could retrain as an Air Force Pararescue Jumper (P.J.). I am currently the Installation Fire Chief at Memphis Air Base, TN. with 30 + years of military service.

Permanent duty station at Schwabach, Germany. Graduated my senior year from Nuremberg High School, Nuremberg, (Nurnberg) Germany in 1976. ETS as Specialist 4 in 1978 with an honorable discharge.

Air Force, 27 Years
Commissioned in 1991 through Purdue ROTC. Aviator on RC-135s, EC-130s, and E-8 aircraft with assignments in Hawaii, Texas, Virginia, and elsewhere. Loved every minute and retired as a Colonel in 2018.
