Army, 8 Years
Joined Army Reserves in 2006. Basic Training in Ft. Jackson, SC. AIT in Ft. Gordon, GA. MOS: 25U, Signal Support System Specialist. First unit was 304th MP Co, Lewisburg, WV. 08-09, deployed to Camp Bucca, Iraq with the 320th MP Bn, Scranton, PA. Came home and transferred to 307th MP Co, New Kensington, PA. 11-12, deployed to FOB Shinwar, RCE, Afghanistan with the 307th. Came home and went IRR, and officially got out of military 2014

Stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. Have deployed twice to the Mediteranian Sea and twice to Iraq since I joined. Have reached the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Currently teaching and am non-deployable for the time being. never thought I'd make a career of it, but here I am 12 years later!!!

Our Pocahontas County High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Pocahontas County High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Dunmore are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
