Served with the 25th Infantry Division
at Scofield Barracks on the island of Oahu in the State of Hawaii. I worked in the Dining Facility located in the NCO Academy. Attained the rank of Spec/4 at the time of my discharge. Service from Sept. 1972 to Sept. 1974. My brothers James and Jeffrey also served with the 25th Inf. Div. at this time.

PFC Townley arrived in Vietnam on December 3, 1969 as a Light Weapons Infantryman and died a non-hostile death while in the line of duty at the age of 21.
