Air Force, 20+ Years
I went into the Air Force December 1950. Bacis Training was conducted at Lackland AFB, Texas , Sheppard Field AFB, Texas, and Eglin AFB, Florida (December 1950 to March 1952) where I was trained in Food Services. I was also stationed at Albuquerque, MN (1 month 1952), Quaduline (until November 1952), Albuquerque, MN (November 1952 to November 1955), Turkey (November 1955 to December 1956), Eglin AFB, FL (December 1956 to February 1962), Japan (Februay 1962 to December 1964), Vietnam (while stationed in Japan) ,Lackland AFB, TX (December 1964 to February 1966) and Air Force Academy, CO (February 1966 to December 1966). After I retired in December 1966 I worked at Tennesse Tech where I later retired. While in service I married and had four children. I currently live in Cookeville.
