Actually did not graduate with my class...but now have a Masters degree in Aerospace.

Joined the U.S. Navy at 17 years of age. Served at a number of shore bases and aboard aircraft carriers on both coasts. Three deployments to Viet Nam aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Oriskany CVA-34, with Aircraft Fighter Squadron 162 (VF-162). Retired as a Chief Petty Officer and immediately went into college at Middle Tennessee State University. Graduated from the Aerospace program with Bachelor's and Master's degrees. The Navy was good to, and for, me.

CWO3 William Wayne Shirey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Shirey.He entered the Army, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Randolph Field. He was a bombsight instructor at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albququerque. Joined National Guard and stayed for 20 years. Received AD, GC, Victory & ATO ribbons.
