Jim Campbell
Class of 1978
Army, 20+ Years
Jim is a Special Forces Colonel currently serving in Afghanistan. He is a Spanish and Hungarian linguist that has served in and commanded Ranger and Special Operations units. He is a graduate of the Mexican Command and Staff College and the U.S. Army War College. He also has a M.A. in International Relations and Economics from the University of Miami and has served as the USSOCOM Chair at the National Defense University. He is married to the former Marisela Zamudio, class of 1977, and has four children and two grandchildren. His son Blaine just returned from Iraq and Blaine's twin brother Jonathon is in his first year of medical school at USUHS. His daughter Leilani is studying at Keiser University and 12 year old Sarah is busy with 7th grade and riding horses.

I am a Staff Sergeant and I have been in the US Army for 7 years. My military occupation specialty is a Food Service Sergeat. I have been deployed once to Baghdad, Iraq in 2003 for 6 months. Currently I am a US Army Recruiter in Los Angeles, CA for almost a year. I have 2 years left as a Recruiter then plan to be an instructor at the Food Service School in VA or become a Food Service Warrant Officer. I love my job and love serving my Country and plan to retire in about 13 years or more.

Rosanna joined the United States Army, 1984. She has traveled extensively around the world. Her most rewarding assignment was serving at the Pentagon. She is married. Together she and her husband have two beatiful daughters
