Class of 1978
Army Reserves, 17 Years
A year after I graduated, I joined the Air Force Reserves. I went to Basic Training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Tx. I then went to Firefighting School at Chanute AFB in Illinois. Came back home to Ardmore and one weekend a month I was a firefighter at Tinker AFB Oklahoma City for a year. Was bored so I joined the Army. Went to Ft Huachca Arizona and became a Photo Analysis Military Intelligience..From there I was stationed at Ft. Bragg North Carolina. After about two years I came back to Ardmore. I went and Joined the Army Reserves here in Ardmore. I worked in supply for awhile, then went into supply warehouse. I then transferred to an Oklahoma City Unit. I became the supply NCO. In the year 2000, I got out as an SFC/E-7.

Aboard the USS CARL VINSON CVN 70 as a Boatswains mate. Did funerals at Arlington cemetary for the United States Ceremonial Guard in Washington, D.C. Ships Color Guard for the USS CARL VINSON CVN 70.
