Class of 1973
Navy, 20+ Years
Served on board USS Thomaston (LSD-28) and participated in the evacuation of Pnomh Penh, Cambodia & Saigon, Vietnam.
Stationed at Amphibious Base Coronado till
Medical retirement after motorcycle accident at Inyo & N St. Dec. 1975.
Re-entered active duty Aug. 1979, served at Naval Station San Diego & Air Station Miramar till transfer to USS Ajax (AR-6), made 2 WesPac cruises.
Transferred to Naval Station Sandpoint, Seattle, WA. TDY to Bangor Sub Base for LMET training.
Transferred to USS Camden (AOE-2).
