Marine Corps, 6 Years
I joined the Marine Corps Reserve in 2001. I went to MCRD San Diego. I went through SOI at ITB Camp Pendelton. From there I joined Fox Company 2/24 out of Milwaukee. I served my six years with that unit, deploying to such places as South America, Africa, Poland, Denmark, and Iraq.

Later deployed to the Persian gulf for the first gulf war. Made stops in the Philippines for relief work after Mount Pinatubo erupted, trained the Singapore military, evacuated Russian embassy in Africa, and experienced the Middle East culture first hand. I am making this post on Sept. 11, 2008. God bless the American men and women keeping us safe today!

After high school, left for the AF after the summer. Went to basic training at Lackland, tech school at Lowry, and supposed to go to Korea got diverted to Dyess, decided to change career fields went to tech school to become a paralegal and did that for the rest of the time in the AF. Got out and was in the reserves for 4 years and then decided i was done. It was an awsome experience and i have done and been places i never would have seen without it.
