Drafted in July '66; completed Infantry OCS at Fort Benning, GA in June '67. Served as a Tactical Officer at the Infantry OCS, and Training Officer before deployment to Viet Nam in June of '68. Served with the 196th Light Infantry Brigade as platoon leader, XO, Communications Officer, and Company Commander. Discharged to Army Reserves where I finished my 6 year commitment.

Had a GREAT time, lots of travel (35 states and 28 countries). Glad I had the opportunities.
