Other than the date, details are still being worked out. --- SDHS Class of 1986 - 25 Year Reunion Date!!!! OCTOBER 8, 2011 Hey everyone. We have set a date for the reunion. Hopefully this will work out for most of you. Mark this date on your calendar! While we are working out specific details for the weekend and will get them to you when able, this date is now set in stone!!! Thanks to Amy Cash for her work on nailing down details. The reunion will be the evening of Saturday, October 8, 2011. There will be some other casual events planned for Friday night through Sunday afternoon, but the actual reunion is that Saturday night. October 7-9, 2011 is a perfect weekend for the reunion. This is Columbus Day weekend, so many schools are out either Friday or Monday and some lucky folks are off work on Monday. It is also the Virginia Fall Foliage Festival and the River City Wine and Jazz Festival in Waynesboro. With free time on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, this will be a good place to meet up during the day with your former classmates and enjoy all the festivities happening in Waynesboro. If we are fortunate, there may even be a SDHS home football game that Friday night! Most of our communication will be email . Please check often for developing details. watch here for details on how we will ask you to help with that. Again, more details regarding times, reunion location and other activities will be coming. We are also looking into working with some local hotels to block off a set of rooms for any out-of-towners who may need a place to stay and will let you know about this as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone this Fall.
