I am active duty in the Army and volunteered for Iraq. Currently overseas, I fly around Liberty, Taji, and Prosperity. I am E-4 and a 94M Radar Repairer. I worked on Field Artillery and the Sentinel radar systems.

Dan served in the US Army from 1993 to 2002 as a combat medic. Less than a month after graduation from VHS, Dan reported for basic training at Ft.Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. After basic he went to Ft.Sam Huston, Texas and completed AIT to become a combat medic. From 1994-1995 he served our country in Korea, and returned to Ft.Sill, Oklahoma to complete he last seven years of service at Ft.Sill as an medic for the home of the heavy artillary. Dan was honorably discharged from the US Army in 2002, after he sustained injuries on active duty that have left him a disabled veteran. Dan now resides near Shawnee, Oklahoma raising his two teenage daughters, Sara (17), and Emily(15). He is engaged to Joanne Weber (VHS class of 1996,) and is a DOT compliance officer for Trican well service in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

I lest for boot camp in 2000 right after we graduated and spent a total of 8 years in the Navy. I spent four years active duty and then got out and joined the reserves. I have been sent to Iraq twice since being in the Navy Reserves. So now I have a total of 6 years active duty and 2 reserve.

I attained the rank of E-5 which is a Second Class Petty Officer.

I was awarded 13 medals which are Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, Reserve Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal W/ "M" Device, Sea Service Medal (2nd Award), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Navy Pistol Expert Medal, Navy Rifle Markmanship Ribbon...
