Air Force, 20+ Years
Entered the Air Force in 1966 and studied airborne navigational computers, first assignment Kadena AB, Okinawa; Served in Korea during the Pueblo crisis in 1968 and various other times until 1970, moved to McConnell AFB, KS, moved to Carswell AFB, TX, Clark AB, Philippines where I work in the evacuation of Cambodian Capital, Sigon, Operation Baby Lift and New Life, and the retaking of the Miauguez (sp). Moved to Grissom AFB, IN and was deployed during the tree chopping incident in Korea, moved back to Okinawa where I deployed to Misawa, Japan when the Russians shot down KAL-007, returned to Mountain Home AFB, ID where I ended my career in late 1986.
