Air Force, 20+ Years
I entered the Air Force back in Mar of 1968 during the Tet Offensive in Vietnam. With the draft going strong and not wishing to be a Grunt or a Marine, I opted to join the Air Force. To make a very long story short, I ended up making the military a carerr and stayed for 30 years, finally retiring on 1 April 1998. I traveled quite a bit and was fortunate to have spent two tours (6 years) in Italy. I loved the country, the people, the food, and the wine and plan on visiting as often as time and money will allow. Here is my list of assignments in case our paths have crossed without us knowing it.

Spend the remaining time on board Baton Rouge, SSN-689. MM2/SS Auxiliary Division, Diesel Tech. Completed 2 Med cruises and 2 runs to the Indian Ocean during the Iran Crisis. Circumnavigated the globe on both IO runs.
